Our sprinters were close but got beaten again and again by Navarone and Team AEK this season. We got beaten by a former rider in Vuelta, we lost the tie with Team AEK in Copa that only was a tie because of an unintended points structure in the cup, in Nederlandse we lost one of our captains to injury, and in the world championship we had to deal with superlegs of Sukkar. 2nd in Vuelta SC (Navarone), 2nd in Copa Salsa (Team AEK), 2nd in Nederlandse (Team AEK) and 2nd in World Championship (Navarone), made for a second donutseason for the sprintsquad in its absolute prime. A 4th place in Norwich-London was better than expected, but not a win either.
Luckily fortune found us in the climbing discipline: Zurich-Bern-Zurich (Esteves) and Germany Tour GC (Piekarski) were added to the palmares. Two of the most prestigious prizes in the OCM-world were gained that way! Also, Piekarski was 3rd in Provence.
We didn't target U23-races like last season, but we scored a couple of results of which one win with Kent de Meulder. Kent is one of our most promissing trained riders and intending to make fame for himself in the seasons to come.
Furthermore good news was that the race by own design (Rubiks) was won by Sima Ervin for the 2nd time in his career. Even in cobbling we started scoring this season, most notably 7th GC/2nd YC by De Vaddere in TvA, and 6th in Roubaix by Vilmos. An unintended TF for Simoni also brought us in a good amount of points. Still, we lack a clear cobblecaptain, and our attempts to hire or train one were unsuccesful so far. We saw transfertargets Gilje and Winters choose for Alpine and Rigana respectively. With Steffen Sijmonds we have another prospect from our own school though in training.

An impressive season all by all!
Haha thanks, yes fingers crossed. Next attempt NL, I don't think it will be wronskian who will be the main problem :|
It's always a good sign when you are in top division and 4 of your 5 top scoring riders are still active. :)
I'm sure the SP prizes will come at some point. Wronskian can't keep getting away with it. ;)
